Deacon Board Purpose

The fundamental purpose of the DEACON BOARD at Saint James Missionary Baptist Church is to do the following:

A. Assist the pastor in guiding souls to Christ

B. To witness to our neighbors

C. To reach out to our members in the process of doing Field work

Deacon Board Goals

A. To increase Deacon Field work

B. To continuously monitor Church Finances

C. To maintain and enhance the infrastructure of our facility

Deacon Ministry Current Events

A. Fellowship of each Deacon one to another (quarterly)

B. Possible establishment of a marriage ministry (Deacon and Deaconess)
