Usher Ministry

Mission

The mission of the Usher Ministry is to do God’s work through service and what so ever ye do, do it all for the Glory of God while creating a lasting hospitable experience for all who enter the sanctuary.

Purpose

The purpose of the Usher Ministry is to serve as doorkeepers in the House of the Lord, to humbly greet and seat all who enter the Lord’s House for worship. As doorkeepers, we are committed to ushering, helping, and serving in a friendly manner to encourage an atmosphere of worship with decency, and in order, to the Glory of God.

Scripture

Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a door keeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
