FROM THE PASTOR’S PEN

Saint James Missionary Baptist Church is an old church with a New Vision; Contemporary in our thinking, but not compromising in our Living. Yes we adhere to a tradition, we trust in the Lord, and we strive to do good! We are Bible Fed and Bible Led because it is not about us, it’s all about Him (Jesus).  Inspired and motivated by Psalm 37:3(a) Trust in the Lord and do good. We are disciplined to serve.

We welcome you to our web site and we pray that you will be blessed and renewed during your visit. We exist to Glorify God by making disciples who transform our city, our county, our state and our world. We are a church for God, for the Montgomery area, and for the world.

For God… We strive to glorify God in all that we do and say! Our ultimate priority is pleasing Him who loves us, gave His Son for us, and invites us into an eternal relationship with Him.
 

For the Montgomery Area… God placed us in this community to be a pillar of truth, a witness to the life changing power of the Gospel, and to be servants of Jesus. We love this community with the love of God and want you to see the heart of Jesus in all our ministries to and for the people of the Montgomery area.
 

For the World… We want the entire world to know the Good News of God's love and salvation made possible through Jesus, our Savior. To this end, we pray, we give, and we go. God has called us to have an impact, and we are answering that call.
